This Privacy Policy applies only to the private QuickBooks Online integration known as “Bayview Accounting Connector” (the “Integration”), used with Intuit’s QuickBooks Online APIs. It does not replace Bayview’s general website privacy policy at bvs-llc.net/privacy-policy.

1. What this Integration is

The Integration is a private, internal tool. It is not listed on the Intuit App Store and is not offered to the public. It connects authorized operators to QuickBooks Online company files for Bayview Solutions, LLC and Bayview Tech Solutions, LLC.

Connection uses Intuit OAuth. The Integration is configured for read-only access (GET / query) to QuickBooks Online company data. It is not intended to create, update, or delete QuickBooks records.

2. Who may use it

Only Aron Tomko and other operators Aron expressly authorizes may connect or use the Integration. It is not available to customers, vendors, or the general public.

3. Information we access and process

When an authorized operator connects a QuickBooks Online company, the Integration may access company accounting data that Intuit makes available under the granted OAuth scopes. Depending on company setup and scopes, that may include (non-exhaustive):

  • Company profile and settings metadata
  • Customers, vendors, and related contact or billing fields stored in QuickBooks
  • Invoices, bills, payments, deposits, journal entries, and other ledger or report query results
  • Account balances and similar financial records

We do not intentionally collect website marketing cookies through this Integration. OAuth tokens and any data retrieved for authorized work may be processed by AI assistants and automation tools Bayview uses internally, which may run on Bayview-controlled computers or on cloud infrastructure provided by Bayview’s service providers.

4. How we use the information

We use accessed QuickBooks data only to:

  • Let authorized operators view, query, reconcile, or report on company books
  • Maintain a working OAuth connection (tokens, company/realm identifiers, connection status)
  • Troubleshoot the Integration and keep audit/security records of connection events

The Integration uses generative AI. QuickBooks data retrieved through the Integration is passed to AI assistants and automation tools Bayview uses internally, including generative AI tools, which authorized operators use to run these queries, summarize results, and prepare internal reports. Those tools act only at an authorized operator’s direction and only for the purposes above.

We do not sell this data. We do not use it for unrelated advertising.

5. Retention and revocation

  • OAuth tokens are kept only as long as needed to keep an authorized connection working, or until the connection is disconnected or tokens are revoked.
  • Retrieved QuickBooks data may be held temporarily for the operator’s session or task, and longer only if an authorized operator saves it into Bayview’s ordinary business systems (for example email, drives, or internal tools). Those systems follow Bayview’s normal retention practices.
  • When access is revoked or the Integration is disconnected, the Integration is configured to stop using stored tokens for that company.

6. Sharing

We do not sell QuickBooks data obtained through the Integration. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect Bayview’s legal rights. Service providers who host or support Bayview systems, including providers of the AI assistants and automation tools Bayview uses internally, may process data only as needed to provide those services and under obligations to protect it. Intuit’s handling of QuickBooks data is governed by Intuit’s own terms and policies.

7. Security

Bayview uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a private internal integration, including limiting use to authorized operators and keeping OAuth credentials out of public distribution. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

8. Your choices / disconnect

An authorized operator (or company admin) may disconnect the Integration at any time by:

  1. Revoking the app’s access in QuickBooks Online / Intuit account settings for the connected company; and
  2. Disconnecting or removing the stored connection in the Integration so it stops using tokens.

After disconnect/revocation, the Integration should no longer call QuickBooks APIs for that company with those tokens.

9. Deletion requests

An authorized operator or company administrator may ask Bayview to delete OAuth tokens and QuickBooks data retrieved through the Integration by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Bayview Accounting Connector deletion request.” Bayview will delete stored tokens and Integration-held copies of retrieved data within a reasonable time, except where Bayview must keep records to meet legal, tax, accounting, or audit obligations. Data that remains in QuickBooks Online itself is controlled by the company file owner and Intuit, not by this Integration.

10. Children

The Integration is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated to authorized operators as appropriate.
